I really shouldn't take photos of people eating their lunch, it's rude, but I liked the line up. I think we were somewhere between Beeley Moor and Chatsworth and I loved the whole walk, there's such a variety of landscape around the Chatsworth Estate.
There wasn't too much ascent and the pace was slower than usual, so my knee didn't suffer. A good day, and I chatted a lot to Helen, seen here with the red hat, whom I haven't seen since we did Ben Nevis exactly six years ago today. She thinks I'm amazing, which is odd because I always thought she was amazing. The day after the Ben, while the rest of us were taking it easy, she did three more Munroes. She was heavily into long distance walking challenges and was just so unbelievably fit... and only a year younger than me. She's had a break of two years, nursing her mother, and is now back in training.
