I drove to Rhian's this morning and we went out for a change, I'd offered and she'd jumped at the chance. We had a walk round Allestree Park, her chihuahua came too and we went round twice.

Rhian's current chemotherapy treatment is almost at an end and she's challenged herself to walk a short section of The Ridgeway in about four weeks time. It'll be a walk of six miles, led by a local historian, and her friend Ruth who has survived the same cancer will also be in the group. Today's walk of three miles was to test her walking fitness. She was very pleased with how she managed, she said she could've done more, but needs to take it steady.
