Belle Toute

After a day with the grandchildren it felt time for an evening out child-free. Haven't seen much of the Husband this week with work and whatever so we enjoyed a meal out and a coastal drive with the obligatory photo stop when we saw interesting clouds, a rainbow and an almost sunset. (The dark clouds blocked the last bit) He's getting very good at spotting things to photo, quite often he asks do I want to stop as I'm reaching for my camera bag :)

This is the Belle Toute lighthouse which is near Beachy Head. "Life and loves of a she devil" was filmed there. It hit the news when it was moved 50ft further away from the crumbling cliff edge which has receded some 70ft since the building was erected almost 180 years ago. It's currently a bed and breakfast having been decommissioned as a lighthouse in 1902.
