Chrysanthemum

Blue moment

Possibly some sort of Sea Holly, or Eryngium, this blue flower is currently flourishing in the herbaceous border in our local park. It wasn’t intended to be today’s blip. I had hoped to post a lovely railway shot, but in my post holiday rush and confusion, I got the timetable all askew and arrived at the station fifteen minutes after my train had left, and an hour and a quarter before the next one was due. So off to the park it was. Nonetheless, I found this blue flower attractive, especially with its misty blue background, the result of a rather welcome breeze. I hope you like it too.
