August Challenge - Hot

Day 2 of DDW's August daily challenge - Hot

What a pity (for us in southern England anyway) that the first 2 days weren't the other way around, since yesterday was the warmest day of the year so far with the temperatures in the low 30s Celsius, Hot would have been such a good thme for then, but instead we have it today when the weather has changed a little, still warm but also showery.

Dinner tonight was an AIY (assemble it yourself) pizza. I say AIY as I didn't have a home-made base, so used a shop bought one. On top was some Tikka chicken pieces, peppers and mushrooms along with the obligatory cheese. That made it hot in 2 respects - temperature and spiciness.

Funny, it didn't seem to go as far as I expected, as though someone else sneaked a piece...........
