Yale Art Gallery

This is an elevator landing in the recently renovated Yale University Art Gallery, which we visited this afternoon in New Haven, Connecticut. We drove there to meet our friends Marge and Steve from Westchester. This shot includes Marge with Marylee. We had lunch together, catching up on our lives, and also paid a stimulating visit to the Gallery. We particularly enjoyed a special exhibition of wood-art objects from a private collection, entitled "Conversations with Wood"; I had never seen anything like it--an incredible variety of sophisticated creations in wood.
