Hanging Around

Otherwise known as Super Slobby Sunday Spanish Style.

Casa based day with a morning of jobs for the grown-ups (Carlos thinks hoovering your pool on a Sunday is the Spanish equivalent of washing your car or cutting your hedge) and pool for the kids. The day started a little hazy but any attempt at doing anything vaguely useful soon has you warmed up. Lunch followed by siesta. Carl had a long lie-in so decided to spend siesta on the terrace listening to the Ashes. I moved a sunbed into the shade to close my eyes for 4o winks here too but realised the error of not snoozing in an air-conditioned room. As I awoke feeling like I 'd been punched in the head. An afternoon of messing about in the pool was a good remedy though.

An evening of cards (Spit and Texas Hold Em) and. probably the best BBQ night of thrice cooked ribs.

Tomorrow Carl leaves for a few days but for now all is happy and well at Casa Los Quiros.
