Proopcast

The end to an excellent day at the Edinburgh fringe. Even if locals do complain about the amount of tourists that descend at this time of year, the festival is still great! Just remember to add an extra 15 minutes onto any journey anywhere in the city.

We came through on the train, visited a friend who was selling jewellery at a craft fair then headed to the madness of the royal mile. Grassmarket for lunch and ice cream before the first show, a news-based improv show led by Marcus brigstocke. Very funny and we both got a headline read out at the end!

Drinks and a free show with friends, more drinks with other friends, an excellent sketch show in the caves (pick me up, the wasp was a highlight!), burgers, more drinks - al fresco this time.

Final show of the day was the recording of the Greg Proops podcast. LH listens to this a lot so we booked a while ago. Political, topical and very witty-a great end to a great day. Only a train journey and half hour walk between us and bed. Sleepy today!
