It was an unsettled night.

Went to bed relatively early and fell asleep quickly.  Woke up at 2:30 and noticing that something was not good.  Hence the basin under the bed.

An hour of being sick is not fun.  All the muscles in my stomach now hurt.

It seemed to calm down and getting back to sleep was easy.

30 minutes later and a very loud and insistent cat jumped on my stomach.  Thanks for that.  30 minutes of stroking and she settled down.

It's the general election day here.  So obviously, time to go voting.  Which was accomplished.

It's a fearful time.  Between them the CDU & the AfD (led by a woman who loves Germany so much she lives in Switzerland) could poll more than 50%.  That would mean a coalition would have a majority, if the CDU wants to extinguish the Brandmauer (literally the firewall that means no-one co-operates with far right parties).

Tomorrow could be a Very Dark Day in Germany.

To adapt an old saying - those who ignore the past are condemned to repeat it.

Fear rises.
