Now Is The Time Of Monsters

The election went pretty much as expected - the only plus being that the FDP (Free Democratic Party - it's only free because they refuse to pay for anything) are no longer represented in parliament.  And let's not forget their shenanigans that brought about the collapse of the coalition and brought this election.

In the west it's mainly black for the CDU/CSU - a few hold-outs for the SPD and the Greens.  The east of Germany is catastrophically blue (the AfD).  Berlin and Leipzig being little islands of sanity.

Fair to say that the next 4 years are not going to be all beer and schnitzels.

Difficult to imagine actively voting for hate and intolerance but stupid people are stupid.  Tell them a lie for long enough and they'll believe it.
