Aglais utricae

The small tortoiseshell butterfly. Looks like a very newly emerged adult; fresh and untattered.
I spent some time today trying to work out why so many photos with the 70-300 lens are out of focus. Took loads of shots of a target on the wall, but realised, after I had uploaded them to examine how changing the AF fine-tuning settings worked, that I had neglected to note down the settings I had dialled in for each picture.
D'oh!
Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.
