It's been quite a stressful afternoon, I've bought a car, not quite by myself because I asked my son to come along for moral and technical support. I was only offered £150 trade-in on my existing car, but that's not really surprising as I've driven it into the ground, sometimes literally, so I refused. My son will try to get a bit more for it elsewhere. I collect the new (to me) one a week today :-)
