Pittenweeeeeeeeem!

I love the East Neuk of Fife at any time, but first week of August means Pittenweem Arts Festival, so I get to fill me boots with a scary amount of real eye candy!

Every hall, garden, room, shed & garage supplements Pittenweem's usual gallery quota, with more canvases, prints, ceramics and other media than you scan shake a palette knife at.

Such a great atmosphere, relatively unpretentious (apart from the daaaaaahlings of nether home counties braying their way round the simply soooooooper little exhibitions - bleagh!) and full of goodies to tempt this art-soaker.

But I was also taken by the wildflowers down at the beach too, and the classic east neuk architecture nearby, with red pantiles and cream/lime render buildings. Nature's art and great design. Ahhhhh!!!

(It's on all week - go! http://www.pittenweemartsfestival.co.uk/ )
