Nature Diary.. Magnolia buds

It's been a beautiful day all day with blue sky and sunshine, although the temperature has dropped quite a lot.
Today's blip is looking down on to the top of a very tall magnolia tree growing beside the sea, just a few feet away from  the cliff edge.
I wasn't able to zoom in enough to get a clearer picture of the Magnolia buds.
When they are in full bloom I'll try to photograph them again if I can get near enough.
The tree is very old and always produces an incredible amount of beautiful blossoms every year.
