Nature Diary.. Early this morning....

The sky this morning was hinting at all sorts of weather so I decided to take a photograph before everything changed.
That turned out to be a wise decision as by midday the optimistic blue was clouded out by a thick layer of grey, which left one pondering how long it would be before the predicted icy cold scattered showers would begin.
Hmm..
