This beautiful large purple loosestrife plant was growing on the edge of the jetty round the marina, in a quiet unused corner, where it had quite taken over, spilling out over the water and the jetty planks in equal measure.
this exuberant flowering attracted not only numerous bees but also a large number of white butterflies.
Today's blip is of a Green veined white butterfly totally oblivious to me as it struggles to lean right in to get it's proboscis right down the trumpet of the flower.
My comment: not everything in life is as easy as it looks, but if it@s worth doing then it's worth the effort,
