A Bright Spot ....

....... on a grey, doomy morning!

Had intended a garden blip of roses this morning but the rain is bucketing down and it's been dark and dull since I got up at 05.45 .... so what you get is a lavatera flower that I rescued after pruning an un-needed branch.

I'm back to my black background and mini-torch for this one ...... just a small crop & sharpen before uploading ......

Thank you for all the comments and stars on the (processed) thistle yesterday - very interesting to hear all the different views too.
