Early morning dog walk (I have a 200 mile round trip to pick up my car and want to make a flying start) and I saw this thistle .... thought it needed a little pzzazzzz so ........ a couple of pre-set overlays and here you have it.

Photography or art??
The never-ending discussion where post-processing is concerned - we all have our opinions - and that's a good thing .... ....

...... mine is that it's more art than photography when you substantially "change" something within the original image - cropping, straightening, sharpening, framing are all basic and remain in the photography area.
Special effects, cloning, replacing or deleting colours/items, merging a number of images, layering etc. start to run into the (photographic) art area for me ......... it all has its place and is a personal choice.
Photographers, snappers, image makers, blippers - call us what you will - we are all different and that's what makes blip such a wonderful place - there is room for every genre and every opinion.
