The Nelsons

The column isn't straight.

Worked this morning and into part of the afternoon.
Lovely, sunny and warm today. About 15°C.
So I decided to go for a walk in the park.

Seems the sun has brought out everyone, including a few idiots. On the way out I passed a couple of cars in the village. One, a large Porsche SUV which pushed his way though a tight spot as we passed. I just stopped, as I didn't want to risk having scrape.

Then in the village centre, another car passed me obviously not doing the speed limit. What always gets me is how people gravitate to the middle of the road - when they have lots of space to their side. If they moved more towards the curb, then we would be able to pass safely. Instead I feel I have to stop - as I'm not in the middle of the road - to avoid an accident.

Anyway, the walk was nice, until I got a cramp in my right calf. I've had thrombosis twice in that calf, so I tend to feel uneasy whenever I get pain there.  I managed just 1.8km, slowly... and stopped twice to sit and massage my leg. I can still feel it now, but it is starting to pass.

On the way to the park gate, someone was quite happy to walk without their dog on a lead, leaving it to wander around everywhere. They only held onto the dog when one of the maintenance 4 x 4's went by. Then as they came towards me, the owner let go of the dogs neck. I guess they didn't read the panel at the entrance to the park. Obviously they don't want their dog to get flattened, but then again, they are quite happy to let it wander around people.

Anyway, back to doing some work. Have a bit more to finish off, then I have some more models to put up for sale on Vinted.
