The begining of the end

Talk at work today seemed to revolve around how quickly the summer months are passing and that Sept is almost here.
I think despite having the best summer weather for years, the summer seems to passed to fast due to the fact we were stills struggling with very deep snow well into April.
Once home I had a little walk down the lane by our house and saw this and it seemed a sign that yes indeed summer is almost over.

I do love autumn though :)
