I was awake in the night for a couple of hours, so no real surprise that I woke a bit later than usual. But it was too late to get to today's Ramblers walk start in Buxton... so I took my name off and told the leader what I was doing.
A walk was still needed so Rhian drove to mine, 10 minutes, and we set off on a local round that I never get tired of. The weather was gorgeous and there were lots and lots of black lambs, a delight!
Rhian also drives an Ibiza and so far I've educated her about Hill Start Assist and how to turn her wing mirrors in. Today I realised that there was a fob button to only open the boot, which she'd never known about. Am I the only person to read the Manual?
After lunch I went to the nearest Asda, not my usual one, but I didn't much like it, there were pallets and cardboard boxes all over the place. I probably won't go there again, but I stocked up with tins.
I've finished watching This City is Ours, about gang family rivalry and warfare, thoroughly enjoyed it, especially watching James Nelson-Joyce.... who rather worryingly seems to be a year younger than my son!
