The London Chatham and Dover railway

I like the bit of history here where some of the supporting struts of the old bridge which stood next to Blackfriars rail bridge have been retained. They must have also repainted it quite recently to get it looking so shiny. London is a city with so much history and the history of the railways interests me. Few other cities in the UK - or indeed the world - have this many major rail terminals dotted around. It's a pain if you want to get between them as certain ones are quite far apart and not very well linked but it's one of the idiosyncrasies of living here.
