'Super D & Fastie'

A busy day today getting everything organized for the boy's photographic birthday party tomorrow.

This won't be the usual 8 year olds party as we'll be making pin hole cameras for each child to use, they will also have a photo safari with a 20 item brief in 3 categories to try to find and photograph (using a regular digital camera, not their pinhole cameras that they will make) followed by a lunch and everyone gets to take home a package containing a piece of light sensitive paper and instructions on how to make their own print and a special balloon, woohoo.

Tonight we caught up with our visiting blipper Sleepyhead for his final night in Melbourne and had dinner at Cafe Italia just off Lygon street before dropping him back at his hotel. It was so nice to meet up with him and we'll be following the rest of his journey throughout Oz where I hope he finds some nicer weather that what has been dished up this past week for him (although today was beautiful).

Just finished making muffins for the party tomorrow with MsMun and heading off to bed just before midnight as I know it's going to be a big day tomorrow.

Oh, and this morning the kids decided to play with their guinea pigs, this is Fastie Dylan's older male having a nice cuddle with him.

The Hawks had a good win against St.Kilda last night, although still not in top form by any stretch, we'll need to improve on that performance if we are going to knock off Collingwood next Friday night.
