The Pevensie Dilemma

Learning To See

My five year old nephew accompanied me to my contact lens check this morning which was special.

Apparently, my prescription will be adjusted only fractionally in order to bring some balance back to my vision.

'Learning to See' is a term often used in Lean methodology. It's derived from a Japanese activity called 'GEMBA'.

Literally, this means 'The Real Place' and involves managers and leaders positioning themselves in the front lines of their businesses - Helping to make problems visible and identify opportunities for improvement on a consistent basis.

It's the process of using all of one's senses in order to 'see' better.

How's your vision today?
