Macduff

There were more chores this morning, but only after I had tackled that reminding piece of work. I then spent the morning thinking about it, before sending it on to a colleague.  At least I’ve done my bit now. I also had to get myself organised to pack a bag, and had to pop out for a birthday card and stamps. For the second time this week I have struggled to buy stamps.

Once back home, I threw stuff in my bag, and then we had lunch. BB went off to play rugby, the last match of the season, and then TT and I headed north for a week away, an Easter break, before Easter. We had a very smooth journey, and reached our destination in good time. We dumped our stuff in our holiday cottage and went in search of provisions and fish and chips for tea.

We went to a supermarket in Banff, then headed to a chip shop in Macduff, only to find it had just closed. We headed back to Banff for find another chip shop.

We then drove home, with a marvellous sunset behind us, where we enjoyed our fish suppers. Later I finished my book, and TT watched a movie.

This is a view to Macduff from Banff, taken this evening. I also spotted this razor bill (Extra) by the harbour this evening. I was a bit worried about it, but it had gone when I went back to check on it.
