It's research - honest!

Daughter No.1 harbours ambitions to the next Domestic Goddess and is busy putting together a proposal for a book of traditional baking (the sort of cakes that you used to get at coffee mornings, garden fetes, etc. before Health & Safety banned them).

A key part of the process is actually working up the recipes into the finished product and of course, she then needs independent tasters to give her feedback - step forward that man...!

Sometimes, of course, you need more than one, just to be sure of your findings!

(For the record, these are vanilla cupcakes and they taste wonderful)
