At the back of the supermarket

My part of the city is full of these little hidden bits of greenery, mainly around the various brooks we have and this path crossing the brook forms the third side of a triangle so it is a well-used route for those of us who walk either or both of the other sides on a regular basis. At least, when it's not the muddy mess it can be during wet weather as it's a well sheltered path which rarely dries out well

It occurred to me, as I was walking down in the early morning to do the weekly shop that it was now dry enough to do this much nicer shortcut! It's at the back of my local supermarket, and the other two sides of the triangle are busy roads with narrow pavements with much pavement parking..

This was a before 7.30 a.m. kind of early! On a weekday! Oh, the simple joys of out of term time. Also means I'm sorted, other than a few top up bits and pieces, until well into next week as I spent the rest of the day doing the various errands I've had the list for ages, and had either failed to achieve or had just been ignoring in the hopes the need for the new whatever would fade away.... 

Anyway, I now have full store cupboards again, plenty of toilet rolls, a better working doorbell, several reams of A4, prescriptions issued for the last time on the medical exception certificate, (I change category on my up-coming birthday) some craft items should any random children attend the Good Friday service (unlikely, but I prefer to be prepared) and 20,000+ steps achieved for the first time in weeks.
