Road closed

There's a high level of over-optimism in these here parts about road closures and diversions, so I did see a lot of drivers have to turn around in the five minutes as I was walking along here. On this occasion it did also apply to pavements as it had yesterday - fortunately I was not heading in that direction. Trees being cut back was the cause and also affected bus routes, so I'd also broken the news to several very grumpy souls wondering where their bus had got to and why hadn't any gone past the other way either...
