Ride The Pennines Day 2!
You find me located above a pub in Hardraw which is a stones throw from Hawes, a name that may be more familiar to some of you on blip. :-)
Today's route has featured beautiful dry stone walls, bouncy lambs to watch, a brilliant mug for my tea given to me at a cafe, a classic climb and chilly temperatures.
I have cycled through Silsden, Addingham, Bolton Abbey (well the road next to it!), Barden, Kettlewell, Buckden and Oughtershaw.
The big climb of the day was Fleet Moss - one to scratch off my scratch map! Yipppeee!! It was silent too, I had to it completely to myself. :-)
Time for a spot of relaxation and refueling; tomorrow is a grand day out...in torrential rain! :-P
