Anns a' gharradh
Spent some time in the garden today or rather in the greenhouse giving it a good (and much needed tidy). T already had tomato and pepper plants growing and we will now think about what else to plant.
I was pleased to see the apple blossom on the smaller of our two trees and our cherry trees also have a few blossoms.
In an attempt to introduce more variety to our lunches which mainly consist of soup and sandwich with the occasional omelette and a bacon roll at the weekend if we haven't had one for breakfast, I made shakshouka for lunch and very tasty it was too.
In between times I continued getting to grips with the conditional/past habitual tense. One of the exercises for this week is how you would spend the day with a character from a book. Needless to say this means I spend time mulling over which character to choose rather than getting on with writing !
