Here's looking at you...

Marianna's improving slightly, but she was still quite unwell this morning. And Frieda's school was still shut because of unfinished roadworks.  Sizing this up when I got there to pick up Simone at 8.30 - our usual Tuesday arrangement - it was also clear that the girls had had "a meltdown" (aka losing their tempers with each other). So  I decided to take both girls home with me.  That allowed Jack to get off to work, and gave M a chance to go back to bed and get some extra sleep. 
It all worked out fine. Richard played board games with Frieda while I took Simone to the regular Tuesday morning music session in the local library.  Later S had a nap, Frieda watched a few 'Octonauts' episodes on TV and we all had some lunch.  Then the girls wanted to play in the bath for a while. R took Frieda back home for some one-to-one time with Marianna in mid-afternoon, and later I took S back in time for tea there. By then M was feeling quite a bit better.
So - busy day, but a good one.
