Day one

Shuttle on time and a reasonable drive to Delft.  I remember the journey from before, nothing much interesting to see and lots of motorways.  We stopped for a snack on the way (actually made sandwiches and a flask which was better than motor way fare).

Arrived in delft late afternoon and managed to park (avoiding driving into the canal!). Hotel good although everything self service or automated to cut down in staff.  Room good with a view over the canal.  

We wandered around Delft and found a nice square and enjoyed a drink with the last of the sun,  before dinner and bed.
