Keukenhof

Enjoyable breakfast then a quick drive to Keukenhof.  Very slick operation with parking and entrance.  They get around 1.5m visitors in a short season so it needs to be well managed.

The flowers looked and smelt wonderful and there were so many different varieties with not a squirrel in sight!!! (Hoping my tulips are not being decimated at home).  We wandered and OH followed the map?! Lots of people around but I suppose that is not surprising. The sun was out and I didn’t need a coat.  Perfect visit.

We drove back to Delft as the weather was changing and managed to avoid a shower while sitting in a bar.  We took a boat trip around the canals with a very proficient student piloting and giving a commentary (perfect English).  Earlyish dinner on account of no lunch.
