Matakauri . . .

………………………….. wetlands, Gorge Rd, Queenstown

After a fairly dry Residents Meeting this morning, a friend & I drove into Queenstown, had a lovely lunch at the newly named McGibbons Café, and then walked with Missy (no show without Punch) around the Matakauri Wetlands.
It was a perfect day for it; warm and sunny and no wind. We thoroughly enjoyed. And decided that cabbage trees and flaxes and toitois are iconic NZ symbols.

Then home to one of the best things all week; our Groupe Français. It was hilarious again. We do learn as we go though, it’s not all light and fluffy.

I got a quick pic of an old carriage with Autumn trees this morning - Extras. It looked like a good combo.
