Beauty is all around us.

A good book.

The Feast Day of St Bernadette.

I can hardly believe it is already 16th April 2025. I am grateful for all the blessings of each and every day.
I try to read a worthwhile book in the gaps between praying, housework, cat care, meals and minimal television watching and radio listening.

I have been out to buy The People's Friend from Best One and to post a very few Easter Cards in the neighbourhood.

We were visited today by a beautiful ginger and white cat. He or she visits and I offer the cat a small saucer of Dentabites. The cat eats eagerly in the garden. He or she miaows pleasantly. Then the cat stays a while hoping to gain access to our conservatory, but Paul says this is not what is a good idea because the visiting cat has previously eaten Hunter and Holly's food from their cat dishes.

The Kale in the greenhouse is growing slowly and is nutritious. I am not certain how tall it can grow. Some research needed!

I feel so sad the 500 year old oak tree in the current news discussions was chopped. Trees are alive, record keepers of their environmental area. Many view points are centred on the ethics of tree preservation, so perhaps it's great life being lost, will serve to save other trees. Perhaps tree diseases could be understood better too. Where trees are planted is key, too. Roots are deep.

I hope you have a pleasant Holy Wednesday, blip friends.

Thank you for visiting my site.
