Another grey day..will the sun ever shine? 

Last minute blip of what's in front of me... just thought the mono was more appropriate for the day. 

Not a great day for Maggie - so of course, not for me either. Vet day makes me into a villain in Maggie's eyes. Being taken captive, pushed into a carrying case and driven off to get a needle in her butt is not her idea of fun. 

It still takes two to carry out the cat-nabbing; my neighbour Elaine, being the good friend that she is, helps. I hold the case and corner Maggie, Elaine grabs and stuffs her into it. It has taken time and practice to get it right and it has not been easy - we both have the scars to prove it!  

...which reminds me of this great TV ad by EDS from years ago called "Cat Herders"....it still makes me laugh and I check it out on youtube every now and then just for fun. Cowboys on horseback herding cats...and comparing their wounds..and proclaiming the satisfaction of getting the whole herd safely to town...check it out for a chuckle..These days, we all need a chuckle.

Only in Canada...
Tomorrow night is the televised Leader's Debate in French for our really really important upcoming election. It was scheduled for 8PM. but OOPS..The Montreal Canadians are playing an important game that same night! Oh No!  What will we do? In Canada, nothing can compete with hockey! So....of course, when they couldn't change the date of the debate, they changed the time! It now starts at 6PM...
