secret garden

By freespiral

A frost this morning unexpectedly and then a glorious bright and crisp day. A wander around the garden and this little peacock kindly posed in my bluebell dell.

A hilarious chat with Esme last night who was in fine form. She and her daddy had had a day out over the Hill and had first been to trampoline world (Jumpin') where, because it was quite quiet, she got an extra half hours worth of bounce. Then they'd gone into Nelson, knickers and socks purchased and then a trip to a toy shop - a Where's Wally book and a jigsaw (300 pieces) purchased. On the way home they'd stopped at Toad Hall, one of our favourite cafes, and she's had a smoothie and a vegetarian muffin! One more stop in Richmond where they'd visited the swimming pool - the rapids and wave machine much enjoyed. Were you tired I inquired. Yes I was, was the answer!  Joe was looking remarkably perky - good work dad! She's now off with her mum to the west coast for a week - I just hope they're not camping for the weather looks dire.
