Life in Sunny Dubai

I was awake at exactly 6 AM to get ready for the contemporary service that G likes to go to. It starts at 8 AM and lasts an hour. It is also Palm Sunday today. I am glad we went to this "early" service as traffic and parking were manic even at that early hour. The Ethiopians were just finishing their service. There were hundreds of them around. I wish I was brave enough to hold my camera up and get a shot of them, but it didn't feel right. I took my picture at the end of the service, just before we left.

We had a cup of tea and saw the new batch of Pathfinders before we left the compound. As we were up and dressed, I took us on a drive. There was no real destination or route, but we headed South instead of North. I was aware of all the things I wanted to do, so we didn't stay out too long.

As it happens, I was also tired, so I had a nap and then the rest of the day off. The only productive thing I did in the evening was to produce my first lyric video in months.
