The Pieris is colouring us nicely.

We were off at the crack of dawn this morning to get the car to the garage to get its new shocks fitted.
As usual the traffic lights on the A71were causing unnecessary delays - but nothing like the what we came up against at the City By-pass which was at a standstill in both directions. I took a convoluted detour. It was still slow but at least we were moving and I managed to get to Peebles just a few minutes after 8am.
We were handed the keys to the courtesy car and headed home .... again avoiding the by-pass. As much as I like Hondas, I am not keen on that one. Having said that though, driving from Peebles to Livingston and back the fuel gauge never moved.
Before leaving the garage I had the tear inducing task of paying for the shocks (just 2 ... on the rear) -- just over a grand!
