Rheged Print Exhibition

If you're in the Penrith area this print exhibition is really worth a visit, and it's FREE! 

There are over 1,000 works on display and examples of the actual lino prints used, as well as videos of some of the craftsmen at work. I've chosen this wall for my blip because it's the work of Sarah Cemmick, the daughter of an artist friend of ours. Her dad was in a graft group I used to belong to last millenium and I was buying cards of a different sort from her then.

I didn't see any signs saying "No Photography" but there should have been. Some very rude people were going right up to prints and taking photos of them with their phones. No doubt some phones will be able to get printable images, that's not right! I had to get my shot quickly to avoid people in it, being Easter holidays the place was busy.
