Labyrinth

At times a very wet cold grey day with the lights needing to be on. The flowers in the garden are now well and truly soaked. Some of them have their heads bowed down with the water. Not all as the fresher tulips are robust enough to stand tall.

The early morning service today was led by a Major from the Salvation Army with some reflective songs.

This evening I, with a colleague, started a number of visits to churches which have removed their pews. This was Stockbridge church which removed pews some 35 years ago and never regretted it. They now have various events involving the community. This week they have laid out a labyrinth with various points on the pathway to pause and reflect.
