A wet walk to Edinburgh Community Food this morning.  I was nervous, holding back tears, and was trying not to think. 
What a great place it is. They aren't a food bank, they buy their own food in. Their focus is promoting healthy eating.  They sell their  food online, and deliver. In holidays they make up food parcels for families struggling, just in this Easter break, they packaged and delivered 700 food parcels. In the school holidays they also go to holiday hubs and cook with the children. They do so much more. They have a organic food market on a Thurs am, getting food from farms. The public can come and purchase the fruit and veg. 
They make these take and make bags, which the volunteers put together. Serves 4. An order got cancelled so I got given this one this morning. 
I am overwhelmed with all the info, what I could be doing etc. I have the forms to fill in. I'm 99% sure I'm going to do it....

I came back exhausted and have lain on the sofa all afternoon.
