Having A Party

Another trip to Lancaster tonight, for the “Waiting Room” after show party. Only a couple of people couldn’t make it so there were 16 cast and crew gathered at Pizza Margherita for the “formal” part of the evening.
The food was very good, as was the company and the conversation. Having the room to ourselves was definitely a good idea as everyone was free to circulate during the evening.
A really pleasant evening, though I left after the meal as I’m no longer capable of spending the rest of the night in a pub and then being able to function properly the following day! I’ll leave those sort of shenanigans to the younger (and younger at heart!) members of the party.
Anyway, I’ll be seeing most of them again a week today, as we’re having a group viewing of the video filmed on the last night of the play. A chance for everyone to add their own “directors commentary” perhaps…?
