Crab Apple Blossom

Today on my walk I noticed that some of the crab apple blossom has erupted. It is so pretty - changing from pink coloured buds to white flowers. There is a lot of it on this particular tree.

Another dull grey day with a few spots of rain - so dismal compared to the shirt sleeve weather we had yesterday afternoon. We even resorted to a warming soup for lunch. 

There is more rain forecast for this evening and overnight. I suppose it is to be expected - after all it is a Bank Holiday weekend!!
