St Mary’s, Gainford

We made a trip to Co Durham today and met up with Mrs madwill’s sister (and husband) for coffee and lunch. Then we all went to the village where they used to live and where their little brother had grown up.

We walked down to the banks of the River Tees to scatter his ashes. They also scattered the ashes of his fiancée, who passed away during the pandemic. A nice peaceful location on a sunny afternoon.
