Energy Dip
It was lovely to wake up to blue skies this morning after the greyness of the past few days. The loch was looking lovely, albeit slightly fresh, but I enjoyed both my swim and the chat afterwards over coffee in the Dam Visitor Centre Cafe.
Back home I made roasted red pepper soup for lunch (one of my favourites) and then feeling more energised than yesterday mowed the back lawn.
A pizza and a glass or two of wine beckons tonight. We have now finished re-watching Heimat 1 and will start on Heimat 2 tonight. It has been really interesting watching it again having visited the Hunsruck where it is set and thinking about life in rural Germany between the wars, during the second world war and afterwards. The next series follows the life of the youngest son as a music student and then composer in Munich in the 1960s.
I also listened to another blipper on Radio nan Ghaidheal. Chòrd e rium ged nach bb' urrain dhomh a h-uile rud a thuigsinn.
