Temperature +15. Mostly cloudy. Some chilly wind from the East.

In the allotment for a few hours at noon, just the second time this spring. Spring has progressed a lot in a few weeks. It seems to be about a month earlier than usual.

The windmill that we had as a yard decoration had got broken in some storm since the last visit. We took net protections off around fruit trees. Also fertilized plants and did spring pruning for those hydrangeas we had time for. And of course all the new growth had to be ckecked :)

In the picture there is our pink common hepatica (Hepatica nobilis) that is growing in my brother's yard in the country and of which he gave me a part some years ago. It seems to be doing well in our yard here in the city too :)
