Daffodil Roof
A calm but cloudy morning. Beautiful sunshine in the afternoon and evening, tad breezy though.
Last day on black bags on the essykert. Working with Jack and Lewis, collections from north Tingwall, Girlsta, Stromfirth, Whiteness and Weisdale. Another heavy load of nine tonne. Walkies with Sammy after work. Working in the shop this evening, super busy with the fine evening. Also Shetland drama being filmed here today, a lot of folk around. Early to bed tonight.
Another day enjoying the sunshine, t-shirt weather again. Not just us enjoying the sunshine, the lambs and other animals, also the flowers. As we headed up the road, I spotted some daffodils looking to the sun, rather high up for a garden. Grass roofs aren't common here, but there are various homes and sheds roofed with them. My first thought was it was on the porch roof, but the daffodils are growing beautifully on the garden shed roof. Always spotting something different at work. Taken up the Wormadale road (Weisdale and Whiteness).
