Tucked up

The greenhouse is now filled with potted up cosmos and ammi, and my started up dahlias which were getting a bit leggy in the spare room. I must keep a sharp eye on them on warmer days so that things don’t sizzle up like happened last year.   No danger of that today as they needed to be tucked up out of the wind.  I did a lot of gardening but as someone on instagram said, it’s like you’re trying to outrun spring at this time of year. 

Apparently the rumour about one of the cows reaching Guildford and one reaching Chichester is true.  Although the story that it turned up at a MacDonalds feels like an embellishment.  

Had a frustrating time driving round trying to send off Vinted parcels with some of the shops’ equipment not working but got them all off.
