Angels
Back blip
Finished sorting out our laundry cupboard, which included taking two more bags to our recycling unit, giving a pile of stuff to our neighbours Merce and Ferran (for Merce’s sister’s holiday place, throws for sofas, cushions, table runners, see extra) and washing and drying a sofa throw in our local self-service laundry (too big for own own machine). We now have A LOT less stuff and so let’s see how long this cupboard stays tidy!
A wee bit of supermarket shopping in the early evening, made cheese pastries, and then we had Angels in at night for drinks and ‘pica pica’ (nibbles). She lost her husband Jordi (10 years younger than her) last September to cancer and so has had a hard time of it. Nice to spend some quality time with her and, although we ate inside, it was just warm enough to sit out on the patio later on….into the early hours of the morning! Luckily, she can walk home in 30 seconds, living just a few doors up in our passageway.
